To the parents of Sunset Elementary,

The staff at Sunset welcomes you and your child to our school.  We are looking forward to providing your child with a wonderful school experience.  Our teaching staff includes knowledgeable, caring and diligent people who set high expectations for your child.  They strive to provide opportunities for success for every student by creating an environment that encourages risk-taking and provides opportunities for growth. 

Our vision is to build a strong foundation and a culture of promise for tomorrow's leaders by educating, inspiring, and engaging young hearts and minds toward a path of lifelong learning.

I would encourage you take an active part in your child's education.  Volunteer in the classroom, read to and with your child every night, or just turn off the T.V. and have a conversation.

My door is always open.  If at any time you have a problem please feel free to call or come by the office at Sunset.  We are here to work with you to ensure that your child receives the best start possible.
